Representatives of the School within the framework of the Erasmus+ participated in the consortium on the development of ICT competencies.

From April 4 to 6, 2017, the first organizational meeting of the consortium of the Erasmus + program project "Innovative ICT education for social and economic development" (IESED) was held.

The goal of the Erasmus + project is to increase the competitiveness of Belarusian universities by improving the competence of IT professionals and improving the quality of higher education that meets the changing needs of the economy of the Republic of Belarus and the requirements of the Bologna Process. The project is designed for three years and will end on October 14, 2019.
The consortium of the project includes: School of Business and Management of Technology of BSU (Belarus); Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank (Belarus); Private Institute of Management and Business (Belarus); Vitebsk State Technological University (Belarus); Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (Belarus); De Montfort University (Great Britain); Lille University of Science and Technology (France); University of Economy in Bydgoszcz (Poland).
More than 80 representatives of the universities-members of the consortium took part in the event. SBMT was represented by the project implementation team represented by the Director of the School V.V. Apanasovich, deputy head of the international relations department E.I. Lugovtsova, head of the educational-methodical department Morozova N.I., head of the distance education center and IT-technology Makovskaya E.V., deputy director in general issues and information technology A. Gulyaeva . And Head of the Department of Technology Management Silkovich Y.N.
The seminar opened with a welcoming address by the the Vice-rector in general issues of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University Valery Zelenkevich, the head of the Erasmus + national office in Belarus Nikolay Izmailovich Listopad, the director Alytaus Kolegiya of the University of Applied Sciences Danuta Remekieni, the project coordinator, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Alytaus Kolegiya of the University of Applied Sciences Rosalia Radlinkaite, Director of the School of Business and Management of Technology of the Belarusian State University Vladimir Vladimirovich Apanasovich, Rector of the Private Institute of Management Yury Ivanovich Miksyuk, the first vice-rector of the Vitebsk State Technological University Valery Anatolyevich Zhiznevsky.
Representatives of partner universities introduced the participants with their establishments and discussed topical issues of training ICT specialists in the conditions of the Belarusian labor market. Members of the management team took part in the discussion of the work plan for the project implementation.
