The Department of International Cooperation of the School of Business of BSU is actively developing cooperation with foreign universities, research and development establishments, foundations and other organizations. The relations with foreign partners are governed by relevant agreements.

Due to its international contacts, the School is able to invite foreign professors and business representatives to give lecture courses, conduct trainings and master classes. Foreign teachers throughout the whole year conduct the courses on the programs of higher education.

Over the past three years, the following guest lectures and seminars, including with the participation of the Fulbright program professors, have been organized for the students of stage I and stage II of higher education. 

The School of Business of BSU is actively developing scientific cooperation with foreign universities and scientific organizations. An important area of international scientific cooperation is participation in the implementation of projects of international funds and programs, including the FP7 program, Erasmus+, research projects funded by UNICEF, the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Values Study and others. 

The School of Business is also the coordinator of the intergovernmental Belarusian-German program aimed at improving the skills of managerial personnel, which allows to meet the needs of the business environment and to increase new professional contacts. Since 2006, Belarus has had a joint Belarusian-German management training program aimed at exchanging experience and training highly qualified executives, as well as establishing mutually beneficial economic relations between German and Belarusian enterprises. The implementation of this program was made possible by signing a joint statement on cooperation in the development of skills of the managerial personnel of the Belarusian economy between the Ministry of Economy of Belarus and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany in Minsk. 

From 2006 to 2019, more than 500 managers representing Belarusian enterprises of various forms of ownership have already been trained under the project.

One of the priorities of the School is international cooperation. The School is a member of leading international associations in the field of business education: AASCB, EFMD, CEEMAN.

The School of Business of BSU has signed over 60 international agreements in the fields of science and education. At present, there exist active cooperation and constant student exchange with educational institutions from China, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Poland. The School of Business successfully implements an agreement on obtaining a double diploma from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences XAMK (Finland) in Bachelor’s degree «Logistics».

In addition, the School is one of the main partners of Management and Human Resource Group International, based in Minsk, Belarus, with its key offices in Warsaw, Poland and Damascus, Syria is considered to be one of the most prominent Capacity Building and Consultation Companies that acts as a bridge between Internationally accredited and recognized awarding bodies in the Middle East. It excels in presenting a wide spectrum of services in areas of public and private institutional development such as: Capacity Building programs – human resources development – public and private Management consultancies. In addition to providing training and specialized educational services in different domains of business administration, and human resources development and rehabilitation for government and private sectors.

The School has started internationalization of the student body and increases the number of foreign students in the programs of both stage I and stage II of higher education every year. For the last three academic years, the School of Business has made significant progress in internationalization of the student body. At present, students from 19 countries are studying at the School. Due to the fact that the School of Business is a structural unit of the Belarusian State University, this provides broader opportunities for implementation of joint educational programs and academic mobility programs with major universities from Europe and Asia. 

On November 21, 2018, the School of Business of BSU signed an agreement with the Stockholm School of Economics on implementation of the Executive MBA programs. The purpose of the agreement is to train students in the EMBA programs at the School of Business of BSU with the teachers from the Stockholm School of Economics. The target audience for the joint EMBA program are heads of enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus with a share of state ownership, as well as leaders of other enterprises and organizations. Education under the EMBA program will be executed according to the standards of the Stockholm School of Economics with the possibility of attracting teachers practitioners from Belarus for courses that have national characteristics of the Republic of Belarus.
